BURLINGTON — After a long layoff without any competition, the Oskaloosa Indians returned to the pool on Tuesday as they traveled to Burlington for a triangular against Burlington and Centerville.

The Indians picked up a trio of varsity wins on the night. Carson Breon got a pair of individual wins, taking first in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Breon then joined joined his teammates to win the 400 free relay.

Aaron Scholes took third in the 100 breaststroke while besting his PR by over five seconds. Keygan Roberts also claimed a top three in the 500 freestyle while Osky’s 200 medley also placed third.

Roberts and Payton grabbed top fives in the 200 free while Scholes nabbed a top five in the 50 free.

“Their hard work paid off as we had an exciting and successful meet,” Oskaloosa head coach Rachel Brown said. “We have a busy schedule these next three weeks and can’t wait to see what these guys can do as we make our way into championship season.”

Oskaloosa travels to Ottumwa on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
