KNOXVILLE — Oskaloosa used a three-run fourth inning to beat Knoxville in a non-conference game Tuesday night.

The Indians (12-9) used those runs to beat the Panthers 4-0.

Faith DeRonde's two-rbi triple scored Abby Braundmeier, who had double and Sophia Dykstra, who had singled. Maddie Haines then drove in Macie Krier, who was pinch running for DeRonde. with an rbi-double.

The Indians scored an unearned run in the seventh on two hits and one Knoxville error.

DeRonde improved to 4-3 as she allowed five hits to the Panthers. She walked one and struck out 12. 

DeRonde aided her own cause with a single and a triple for two RBI while Haines doubled and drove in a run. Braundmeier and Meghan Moorman both had a double while Dykstra singled and Kaylee Johnson had a double.

Oskaloosa traveled to Grinnell Wednesday for varsity doubleheader.
