OSKALOOSA — Oskaloosa scored three runs in the fifth inning and added an insurance run in the sixth to beat Indianola 5-3 in the first game of a Little Hawkeye Conference doubleheader Friday night.
Oskaloosa completed the sweep by scoring a pair of runs in the fourth inning of the nightcap for a 3-2 victory.
Oskaloosa got a pair of solo home runs from Tyler Miller and Will Schultz in the first game as it outhit Indianola 8-4.
Colton Butler collected a pair of doubles and cored a run for Oskaloosa as Wyatt Krier also had a double and two RBI. Rian Yates and Charlie North both had a single while Nik Dylstra singled, scored a run and drove in another. Miller and Schultz both had their home runs, scored one apiece and drove in one run. Wes Wilcox scored a run to round out Oskaloosa's offensive effort.

In the nightcap, Butler and Noah Van Veldhuizen combined on a three-hitter with Butler getting the win.
He went the first four innings, allowed two hits, walked two and struck out one while Van Veldhuizen allowed one hit in three innings pitched. he struck out five and walked one.
Krier and Miller both had two singles and scored a run while Miller added one RBI. North had a single while Van veldhuizen scored a run and Yates and Butler each had an RBI.
Oskaloosa moves to 9-4 on the year and is at fella Christian Monday night then hosts Knoxville Tuesday.
