CENTERVILLE — The Oskaloosa cross country teams competed at the Centerville Invitational Tuesday night.
No team scores were available at press time due to computer malfunction, but Oskaloosa coach Mike Comfort was proud how the teams ran.
“We ran an awesome race last night — the best of the season,” he said. “Many people had their fastest times ever. The kids did a great job of challenging themselves and staying aggressive throughout their whole race. Very proud of the team!”
Patrick DeRonde had the quickest time for Oskaloosa as he ran 17:40. Kadin Gerard was next at 18;22 followed by Caden Ayala at 18:32, Aden Scott at 18:53 and William Leonard at 18:59. The rest of the team were as follows: Phillip Abrahamson 19:29, Jack Dawson 19:57, Zach Tarr 20:11, Keygan Roberts 20:27, Sage Cochran 20:40, Jaison Anderson 20:53, Lawson Morris 20:58, Andrew Otto 20:59, Elliot A 21:06, Traton Shilling 21:44, Braden Smith 21:46, Ryan Walter 22:31, Aaron Wilson 22:31 and Ethan Herr 23:41.
Addi Carter led the Oskaloosa girls with he time of 21:52. Abby Lumsden came in with a time of 23:13, Sage Adam had a time of 23:41, Olivia Stodghill ran 24:59 and Paiven Knoot clocked in with a time of 25:34. Brooke Allen ran 25:39, Addy had a time of Dykstra 26:12, Trisha Van Donselaar ran 27:04, Hayley Westercamp ran 28:18 and Lindy Slocum had a time of 28:51.
Next meet is Monday at Norwalk for the Little Hawkeye Conference Championships.
