One key player for Pella Christian
It seems like Eric Mulder could have a huge game going into any week. The 6-foot-8 WR/S hasn’t needed to necessarily have a big night offensively yet as he ranks second on PC with 13 catches for 329 yards and five touchdowns. He is a mismatch every time he lines up and can make tough catches and get yards after the catch when called upon. Defensively, he has stepped up into the box and currently leads the team with 35.5 tackles. Finding that balance between run defense and deep safety will be important against a balanced Central Decatur attack.
Keys for Pella Christian
It will be senior night for the Eagles and a win secures them second place in the district and a home game for the first round of the playoffs next week. PC needs to take care of business knowing they’ve had a lot of success against the Cardinals in recent history. Their offense has been tough to stop when it gets going and QB Kacmarynski has gone for seven touchdowns in each of the past two games. If they get another performance like that for a third straight week, the Eagles should be flying to the postseason.
