One key player for Pella Christian

Through two postseason games, Natalie Harrill has drove in nine runs for the Eagles. The sophomore shortstop has taken advantage of runners in scoring position thus far and along with her team has been enjoying a hot bat as of late. If she continues that trend, look for Harrill to be a huge threat in the middle of the lineup again for Pella Christian. She is also a solid defensive player at shortstop that will look to lead the Eagles defensively as well.

Keys for Pella Christian

It’s hard to score runs off of East Marshall. They give up an average of 1.9 runs per game which means something will have to give between their defense and Pella Christian’s hot offense. The Mustangs’ Kodie Hoskey has been dominant in the circle this year, going 14-2 with a 1.18 ERA and 155 strikeouts in 101 innings. Pella Christian will have their hands full with Hoskey but they enter this game with a lot of confidence in their game. Cheyanne Collins pitched well against I-35 and she will look to keep that going and try and get her Eagles through to the regional final.
