Levi Schelhaas has been in good form to start the season for the Pella Christian Eagles. Between PC’s early bird meet and the Ogden meet, Schelhaas already has picked up five victories on the season.

Schelhaas started his season by winning three events at the PC’s home meet. He would anchor the sprint medley squad to win with a time of 1:41.37. Schelhaas would later win the 200 with a time of 23.34 before anchoring the 4x100 to win with a time of 47.80. But with no rest, he would turn right back around in the next event to help PC to a second place finish in the 4x400.

At the Ogden meet, Schelhaas picked up two more wins. He would win the 100 with a time of 11.89 before anchoring the 4x100 with a blazing 11.12 split as the Eagles placed first with a time of 47.34.

Going into Monday, Schelhaas currently ranks tied for 13th in 2A in the 100, fourth in the 200 and is fifth in the sprint medley.

Schelhaas and Pella Christian will go to North Mahaska on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.
