Pella Christian split their two games last week, running away 74-40 against PCM before falling 82-69 to Indianola. In both games, PC guard Jaedon Huisman shot the cover off the ball.

In their win against PCM, Huisman would score 12 points, shooting 4-of-5 from the field and a a perfect 4-of-4 from three with two rebounds and one assist.

He then came back the next game against Indianola and went off for 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting including a near perfect 5-of-6 from beyond the arc while also chipping in three rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Between the two games, the 6-foot-4 junior averaged 15.5 points on 78.6% shooting from the floor and a stellar 90% (9-of-10) from the three-point line.

On the season, Huisman is averaging 11.3 points on 61.5% shooting from the field and 72.2% from three with 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.

Huisman and Pella Christian (1-3, 0-2 LHC) are back in action at Grinnell (2-2, 0-1 LHC) on Friday at 7:45 p.m.
