School: Pella Christian
Before suffering a high ankle sprain against Pella, Eric Mulder was having a big week for the Pella Christian Eagles, who went 2-1 last week.
Mulder started the week by helping his Eagles to a double-digit win over a talented Knoxville squad. The junior forward finished with a double-double with 25 points on 12-of-17 shooting with 15 rebounds, two steals and three blocks.
He then grabbed another double-double in a hard-fought win over Oskaloosa. Mulder ended with 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting with 13 rebounds, one steal and two blocks.
Mulder sprained his ankle early in the inner-city showdown against No. 1 Pella. His minutes and activity were limited with the injury as he fell just short of his third double-double of the week with nine points and eight rebounds in the four-point loss to the Dutch.
On the season, Mulder is leading the Eagles averaging 14.1 points per game while shooting an impressive 66.7% from the floor and 35.3% from deep with 8.7 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.6 blocks per game.
Mulder and Pella Christian (6-7, 3-4 LHC) return home on Friday at 7:45 p.m. when they take on Norwalk (7-3, 3-1 LHC).
