The Lady Dutch picked up a pair of wins last week, dominating Washington before edging Norwalk. Madison Naig was tough to stop on the offensive end, breaking out for a couple of 20-point performances including a career-high.
In Pella’s convincing win over Washington, Naig would go for 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the floor and 3-of-5 from three along with two rebounds, one assist and one steal.
She would then propel the Lady Dutch past Norwalk with a career-high 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field and 5-of-8 from three-point land to go with nine rebounds, one assist and one steal.
On the season, she is leading Pella by averaging 17.8 points per game on 51.6% shooting from the field and 42.3% from beyond the arc with 5.6 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game for the undersized forward.
Naig and Pella (3-2, 1-1 LHC) get a huge test on Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. when they host Ankeny (1-0).
