One key player for Pella Christian

A Hudson defense that owns a pair of shutouts this season has struggled recently, giving up at least 40 points in each of the past three weeks. That should bode well for Eagle quarterback Isaac Kacmarynski and the PC offense. That being said, if Hudson gets back to their early season defense, they have shown they are dangerous, forcing 13 turnovers this year and sitting tied for third in Class 1A with 19 sacks as a team. Although they’ve struggled recently, Kacmarynski should know they still have potential to wreck havoc and makes things difficult for the Eagle offense.

Keys for Pella Christian

The Hudson defense has been up and down this season, the same can’t be said about their offense, which ranks 49th in 1A at 9.4 points per game. The PC defense should have field day against Hudson and be able to be aggressive. As long as the Eagles offense doesn’t turn the ball over or see Hudson’s defense come back to life, this should be another quality win for Pella Christian. The winner of this one will face the winner of East Marshall and Panorama next week.
