One key player for Pella Christian

Isaac Kacmarynski is the type of player that if he has his game going that night, it’s going to be really tough to stop Pella Christian. Kacmarynski is coming off a huge performance where he tallied seven touchdowns against Pleasantville last week. The Eagles could use that kind of killer instinct from their leader on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he should have chances to showcase what he do with his legs and his arm. Defensively, PC’s second-leading tackler will be tested against the third-highest scoring team in 1A that averages 48.7 points per game and can do it through the air or on the ground.

Keys for Pella Christian

On paper this looks like it could be a shootout in Eldon. Two offenses that have shown they can put up a lot of points in a hurry. Two players to watch for Cardinal. Quarterback Maddux Jones has been phenomenal completing 76-of-111 (68.5%) for 1,438 yards and 20 touchdowns to just two interceptions. He will lead the Comet offense while they have a machine in Griffin Greiner on defense who has tallied 59.5 tackles (7.5 for loss) with one sack, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions. PC will have to take care of both of those players while keeping the momentum they built last week in this battle for second in the district.
