With several inches of snowfall expected to blanket much of central Iowa, Marion and Mahaska County cities are implementing snow ordinances for today, Friday, Jan. 14.
Oskaloosa: A Snow Emergency Parking Ban is declared for the city of Oskaloosa beginning at 6:00 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14 and continuing until noon Saturday, January 15, 2022. This parking ban may be amended based on the actual snow path and snowfall.
Pella: The City of Pella's snow ordinance will go into effect at noon and will remain in effect until further notice. Vehicles remaining on the street or in public parking lots are subject to ticketing and/or towing.
Knoxville: The snow ordinance will go into effect at 12 p.m.
Pleasantville: The snow ordinance will go into effect at 12 p.m.
