KNOXVILLE — The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce will have a new director come January.
The chamber announced Wednesday they have named Emma Skahill as director. She will begin in January.
Skahill is taking over for outgoing director Hannah Vander Veer, who has taken a job at the Knoxville Community School District. Vander Veer had been in the role for three years.
Skahill joined the chamber staff in February as the marketing and communication coordinator.
"I am honored to be named the newest Executive Director of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce," Skahill said. "I am looking forward to continuing to fulfill the chamber's mission of fostering a vibrant business community in Knoxville."
