MAHASKA COUNTY — The Mahaska County Conservation Board invites the public to a nature hike at the Eddyville Sand Dunes Prairie on Tuesday, July 28 at 10:30 am.

This is a free program for all ages. Participants will receive a nature scavenger hunt list. As you find items on the list, take a selfie photo with each item (don’t forget to bring a phone). Participants can walk with the group they come with or on their own to find items on the list. Prizes will be given to anyone that takes selfies with everything on the list. If you don't wish to participate in the scavenger hunt, join us for a hike.

Additionally, please bring water, insect repellent and sun screen. Participants are asked to maintain social distancing at all times and will be asked to fill out a questionnaire regarding COVID-19.

Pre-registration is needed to participate. Sign up by calling 641-673-9327 ext. 2 or email decook@mahaskacounty.org.

The Eddyville Sand Dunes Prairie meetings are located at 901 Merino, Eddyville.
