MAHASKA COUNTY — The National Weather Service reports wintery travel conditions including gusty winds and possibly blowing and drifting snow are possible across the state Tuesday, Nov. 26.
According to the weather service, exact travel impacts will depend on the storm track and there is considerable variability within the computer projections of this storm system. Forecast confidence will likely increase over the weekend.
Currently, the areas impacted include most of Iowa. Precipitation is likely to begin Monday night, with chances of rain and snow through Tuesday. Wednesday is expected to be dry, but rain and snow chances return Thursday and into Friday evening.
There could be reduced visibility in the rain and snow, with slick roads impacting travel.
