PELLA — Pella in Pink, an annual two mile run/walk presented by the Pella Regional Health Center Foundation, will look different this year due to COVID-19.
The event will be a virtual half marathon where participants run or walk a total of 13.1 miles between Oct. 14-31 and log miles. Mileage logs turned in by Nov. 6 will be entered in a drawing for prizes. The goal of this event is to raise awareness of breast cancer and the importance of regular screenings. All proceeds benefit breast cancer awareness at Pella Regional.
Register online at PellaHealth.org/pink or fill out a paper form at Pella Regional’s Information Desk (Entrance 1). Participants who sign up by Sept. 25 are guaranteed a long sleeve shirt. Shirts will be available for pick up on Wednesday, Oct. 14 from 4–5:30 p.m. at Pella Regional.
