PELLA -- Pella Area Community & Economic (PACE) Alliance announced Thursday that based on crowd restrictions still in place in Iowa, all Thursdays in Pella June events are canceled.
“It is with great disappointment that we must cancel our Thursdays in Pella for the month of June due to COVID-19 concerns and regulations,” said Mary Mansfield, PACE Alliance Events Council Chair. “We will make a decision as to the status of the July Thursdays in Pella events in June. But, fear not! This is a time of coming together as a community. A time to support one another, hold fast to our values, strengthen our education, and cherish what makes Pella amazing! We look forward to expanding and developing our creativity to bring joyful and innovative events to Pella, as well as hosting the 2021 Thursdays in Pella bigger and better than ever!”
The Thursdays in Pella mini-festivals are organized by the Events Council of the PACE Alliance.
At this time, many of the activities with June dates will be pushed to July, including:
- Ag in the City, hosted by Marion County Farm Bureau
- Families First, hosted by Families First
