LAKE RED ROCK — A Clarinda man was killed and a Corydon man injured in a single-vehicle crash on Highway T15 Monday evening.

The Iowa State Patrol said that Jason Cameron Willey, 47, of Clarinda, died from injuries sustained in the crash, which was reported around 6 p.m. on Monday. Willey was the passenger in a single vehicle crash. According to the crash report, he was not wearing a seat belt.

According to the crash report, the vehicle, a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro, was driven by Jalen Zachary Frost, 24, of Corydon. The vehicle was traveling westbound on Highway T15 through a curve. The vehicle ran off the road to the right and struck the ditch embankment of County Highway S71.

The vehicle rolled several times and Willey was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Frost was listed as injured and was transported by medical helicopter to MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. The crash report said he was wearing a seat belt.

The crash occurred about 2.5 miles southwest of the Lake Red Rock Dam, and about 4 miles northeast of Knoxville.
