Spencer Lee Vancenbrock, now 25, of Eddyville, was charged in March 2019 two counts of third-degree sexual abuse and three counts of supplying alcohol to a minor.

Vancenbrock would have been 23 in December 2017, when the Knoxville Police Department received a report that he had sexually abused a 15-year-old victim twice.

Police said Vancenbrock had also provided alcohol to the victim both times “to the point of intoxication” during both assaults.

Vancenbrock pled guilty to one charge with third-degree sexual abuse. Judge Michael Jacobsen sentenced Vancenbrock to five years of probation, with a 10-year prison sentence that was suspended. The remaining charges were dismissed under the plea agreement.

Following the completion of his probation, Vancenbrock will be “under supervision as if on parole” for the rest of his life.

Vancenbrock was ordered to complete a substance abuse evaluation, complete the sex offender treatment program and register as a sex offender.
