PELLA — Lely International and Lely North America are pleased to announce that Chad Huyser has been named Regional Director, Lely International and President, Lely North America.
Huyser will lead all of Lely’s North American efforts and serve as one of five Lely Regional Directors worldwide.
“Lely North America’s record of success has created the opportunity for Chad in this broader role. As the dairy industry rapidly grows and accelerates toward adoption of robotics, automation and data/technology, Lely continues to align strategic objectives and our organization centered on delivering value to our Lely Center partners and dairy producers around the world,” said Gijs Scholman, Chief Commercial Officer. “It is with this in mind that we are pleased to announce this key leadership change.”
Huyser joined Lely in 2007 as Director of Sales and Operations and most recently held the position of Vice President for Lely North America. Huyser brings more than 23 years of ag equipment manufacturing, finance, operations and sales/marketing experience to this leadership role. During his 13 years, Huyser has led and strategically supported all areas of the Lely business, including the construction of Lely’s first North American headquarters and manufacturing facility in 2012 and again in 2019 as Lely announced plans to construct an entirely new facility in the Pella, Iowa, area.
“We have high expectations for the North American market and plans that will require all members of our company to take on even larger responsibilities,” Huyser said. “With that, we are very fortunate within Lely to have strong leaders and team members with a collective passion for dairy and livestock producers worldwide. This passion, combined with the expertise and knowledge of the dairy industry and application of technology, will continue to be invaluable as we look forward to delivering on Lely’s vision of creating a sustainable, profitable and enjoyable future in farming for dairy producers across North America.”
