KNOXVILLE — Knoxville Hospital & Clinics (KHC) today announced it has been recognized as a 2021 Top 100 Critical Access Hospital – a distinction the organization has received for the second year in a row.

Compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, this 11th annual recognition program honors outstanding performance among the nation’s rural hospitals based on the results of the Hospital Strength INDEX.

“I couldn't be more proud of our staff who have shown their resilience, adaptability, and commitment to protect our community throughout a global pandemic," said KHC CEO Kevin Kincaid. "This recognition, along with our Best of Red Rock Awards for Hospitality and Best Place to Work, are a tribute to our entire team of compassionate experts."
