Katelin Brees named May Shining Star at Pella Regional

PELLA — Katelin Brees, licensed practical nurse, Pella Medical Clinic, was selected as Pella Regional Health Center’s May Shining Star for her high performance standards.

Brees, resident of Knoxville, was nominated based on attitude, commitment, communication and ownership.

Excerpt from her nomination:

“Every time I hear Katelin’s name, she is part of something positive. When we have challenges, Katelin is one of those personalities that finds solutions. She always volunteers to help, takes ownership of problems and processes, and she actively embraces new ideas to meet the ultimate need — caring for our patients. This attitude and energy is fundamental to our success. Katelin models our values and we hold her in high esteem.”

Brees will receive a $100 gift, a plaque, and will automatically be included in the nominations for Shining Star of the Year award.
