Jody Van Veen named chief nursing officer at Pella Regional

PELLA — Pella Regional Health Center has named Jody Van Veen, RN, MSN, NP-C, to the role of chief nursing officer.

As she joins the administrative team, Van Veen becomes responsible for all nursing departments at Pella Regional, including Emergency, Home Health, Hospice, Medical/Surgical/Intensive Care, Obstetrics and Surgery. She is also accountable for Case Management and Quality.

Van Veen was most recently the director of Obstetrics at Pella Regional where she was responsible for the direction and coordination of Obstetrics, including developing strategic operational plans, budgeting, managing and educating staff, and providing patient care.

“Over the past year as director of Obstetrics, I have witnessed firsthand the dedication of all employees in providing quality, safe, courteous and compassionate care. I feel blessed and honored to continue to be a part of the mission and values of Pella Regional in my new role,” said Van Veen.
