OSKALOOSA — The Oskaloosa City Council will meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18 in the Council Chambers.

Council members will consider a resolution establishing the use of the American Recovery Plan Act Special Fund.

The City of Oskaloosa is to receive total funding of approximately $1,720,411 and the use must be determined by Dec. 31, 2024. The first portion of the funding was received in August and November 2021, and the second is anticipated in July 2022.

Members will vote to allocate a portion of the funding to sear and storm water infrastructure projects.

Council members will also hear the fourth quarter code enforcement report for 2021. The report will touch on code violation cases from October through December.

There will also be public hearings held for levying a special assessment for nuisance abatement at three Oskaloosa residences, as well as one levying a special assessment against a private property for weed cutting.
