MAHASKA COUNTY — There is no opposition for any of the candidates seeking a spot on the Oskaloosa City Council or school board.

Mayor David Krutzfeldt seeking re-election uncontested. Robert Drost was appointed in 2018 to fill the second ward seat vacated by Tom Jimenez. Steve Burnett, of the fourth ward and at-large member Joe Caligiuri also seek to retain their seats.

Those seeking a seat on the Oskaloosa Community School District Board of Directors also have no opposition. Sharma Parlett and Amanda McGrew are both seeking re-election. Charlie Comfort and Shawn Moyer are running to join the board and filling seats vacated by Erik Edgren and Kraig Van Hulzen. Moyer and Comfort both have experience on the Oskaloosa school board.
