PELLA – Thirteen finalists have been nominated to compete for the 2021 Tulip Time Queen and her Royal Court.

Nominations were accepted from Sept. 16 through Sept. 29 for high school seniors living in the Pella Community School district. 

The following high school seniors are among the 13 finalists:

Ella Van Zee, daughter of Myra and Mike Van Zee; Callista Webb, daughter of Melissa and Kurtis Webb; Alyssa Geetings, daughter of Darrin and Angie Geetings; Kaylee Bandstra, daughter of Mike and Jill Bandstra; Morgan Heinen, daughter of Jon and Tricia Heinen; Olivia De Haan-Burch, daughter of Darla De Haan and Matthew Burch; Hannah Tschetter, daughter of Jared and Brittny Tschetter and Andrew and Kelli Pealer; Greta Kelderman, daughter of Carrie and Curt Kelderman; Camille Doty, daughter of Kim and Jeff Andrews and Kim and Matt Doty; Courtney Paxton, daughter of Angie and Ron Paxton; Ella Johnson, daughter of Ruth Van Heukelom; Ashley Hardman, daughter of Jen and Chad Hardman; and Tessa Brouwer, daughter of Gerrit and Michelle Brouwer.

The 2021 Tulip Time Queen and Royal Court will be chosen from a panel of judges on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. at Pella Christian High School. Due to COVID-19, the annual announcement party will not be open to the public. Socially-distanced seating will be reserved for judges, limited family members and committee members.

The event will be live-streamed for the public to view on the Pella Historical Society and Museums website and Facebook page.
