OSKALOOSA — The Iowa Girls Coaches Association released their all-district teams for this season. Three area girls were amongst those voted to the teams. Those three were Pella’s Madison Naig, Pella Christian’s Allison Van Gorp and Knoxville’s Maggie Wilkins.

Naig, a senior, finished off a strong senior campaign for the Lady Dutch. She led Pella in scoring at 14.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game while shooting 43.3% from the floor, 29.4% from three and 70.7% from the charity stripe. Naig is committed to play basketball at Northwestern College this fall.

Van Gorp, a senior, was a double-double machine and beast in the paint for the Eagles. She would lead Pella Christian with 16.8 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.9 blocks per game while shooting 51.9% from the field. Van Gorp is committed to play basketball and track at Central College this fall.

Wilkins, a senior, crossed the 1,500 career points plateau while scoring 499 points alone with the Panthers this season. She ended up averaging 23.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 4.0 steals per game while shooting 43.4% from the field, 35.2% from three and 76.8% from the line. Wilkins is committed to play basketball at Wartburg this fall.
