Megan Weiler Green is the newest member of the Peoples Bank Board of Directors.
Green lives in Pella and is counsel and engineering manager for Weiler in Knoxville and Weiler Forestry in Georgia. Before that, she served as in-house counsel for State Farm in Bloomington, Illinois, counseling clients in multiple states on legislative, regulatory, banking, litigation and public policy issues.
“Megan’s legal background, coupled with her business acumen and community involvement, is an incredible asset to guide our employee and customer experiences as we grow,” said Kevin Halterman, Peoples Bank president and CEO. “We continue to seek a diversity of thought and expertise on our board of directors, and Megan is an important part of our future.”
Green is a member of Weiler’s senior leadership team and serves as president of the Weiler Foundation for charitable giving. She is also active in several community leadership activities, including Habitat for Humanity of Marion County, Marion County Economic Development Commission, Pleasantville High School Ag Council, Knoxville Housing Steering Committee, multiple apprenticeship and career readiness committees, the Chicago Fed’s Iowa Economic Roundtable and the Federal Reserve Advisory Council on Agriculture, Small Business and Labor.
