Knoxville finished the season with a 1-8 record.

KNOXVILLE — The Panthers welcomed the top-ranked Cyclones to Ken Locke Stadium on Friday for the regular season finale. Harlan showcased why they will be a title favorite entering the postseason as they dispatched Knoxville, 76-0.

Knoxville started the game well with Jay Kellar picking off Harlan quarterback Teagon Kasperbauer. But the Panthers had a tough time moving the ball all night and that would quickly give the ball back to the Cyclone offense to take the other way.

On the night, Knoxville would be outgained 441-(-15). Michael Greubel completed two passes for three yards while Dakota Ramsey led the running game with six yards on seven carries.

Sophomore Tyce Huyck led the Panther defense with six tackles and one sack.

Knoxville finishes the season with a 1-8 record and will eight graduate seniors and will eye a new permanent head coach to lead them in 2022.
