KNOXVILLE — Panthers are a perfect three-for-three so far this season. Back on their home course at Pine Knolls Golf Club, Knoxville picked up the win with a team score of 160, defeating Carlisle (196) and Pleasantville (220) in the triangular.

Conditions were not ideal but that didn’t stop Knoxville from a good showing.

The young guns once again had a solid day. Sophomore Beau Leisure finished with a one-over round of 36 to win the medalist while freshman Evan Smith finished as runner-up with a 37.

Freshman Carson Uitermarkt tied for third with a 43 while sophomore Kail Arkema was right behind in fifth with a 44.

John Buttell and Mason Hatch rounded out the Panther lineup by both carding 58’s.

Knoxville heads to Albia Country Club on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. for the Albia Invite.
