One key player for Knoxville

Dakota Ramsey had some nice plays on both sides of the ball for Knoxville last week with six rushes for 42 yards and 4.5 tackles on defense. Knoxville will need Ramsey to make more impacts like that on both sides of the ball as the sophomore continues to grow into a bigger role for this team.

Keys for Knoxville

It’s homecoming week for the Panthers of Knoxville as they welcome the Panthers of Creston. Knoxville will need to limit turnovers as they battle a team that has created 13 in their four games. The Knoxville offense was able to get some positive momentum going last week and they will try to build on that against a good Creston defense. Briley Hayes has nine of Creston’s 15 offensive touchdowns this year with 399 yards on the ground on 72 carries. The Knoxville defense will need to lock in on stopping him, especially in red zone where he is tough to keep out of the end zone. This is the district opener for both sides as Knoxville will try to secure their first win of the season and do it in front of what should be a good homecoming crowd at Ken Locke Stadium.
