Matchup history

Carlisle has owned this matchup, going 10-0 since 2007. These two last met in 2017 where Carlisle won 57-37.

One key player for Knoxville

Knoxville is going to need a big game from Logan Clark defensively. The Panthers’ leading tackler with 28.5 tackles this season will be up against a very good running team in Carlisle. The Wildcats have three guys with over 500 yards rushing this season, Clark will have to read the ball well and get off his blocks and wrap them up. When Carlisle gets their running game going, they are tough to beat.

Keys for Knoxville

Load the box and try to stop the run. Knoxville needs to throw a lot of bodies at Carlisle and hope to slow down their offense. The Panthers are depleted with injuries and they will look to finish the regular season on a good note. Offensively, trying to string together a couple of first downs look for the big play every once in a while could help them get on the board this week. Getting through this week with some positive plays and good health will be the priority for Knoxville.
