8:30-9:30 a.m. Eggs & Issues. This legislative forum will be at Oskaloosa Smokey Row and will give area residents an opportunity to learn more about the state, county and local issues.

10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Windmill Winterim - Dutch Cheese-Making Class in the Scholte Garden Room. Join Larry and Lil Terpstra to learn how to make komijnekaas (caraway cheese), a Dutch farm cheese favorite. All of the equipment will be provided. Participants will go home with the recipe and know-how to make this anytime. This event is $10 for members of Pella Historical Society and Museums and $20 for non-members.

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Winter Market at Penn Central Mall. Shop local bakers, crafters and farmers.

3 p.m. Missoula Children’s Theatre “The Jungle Book” at George Daily Auditorium. The Missoula Children’s Theatre musical adaptation of “The Jungle Book” will feature 60 local performers ages 5-18.

7 p.m. Missoula Children’s Theatre “The Jungle Book” at George Daily Auditorium.

7 p.m. 2023 Winter Concert Series at the Oskaloosa Art Center. The Outer Space-Oskaloosa will host musicians Jenny Sammons and Lore Oliver of Fairfield. Tickets are $5 for students and members, and general admission is $10.

Monday, Jan. 16

10 a.m. to 12 p.m. MLK Day of Service. Join Cargill-Eddyville, United Way of Mahaska County and Meals for the Heartland on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day at Oskaloosa Middle School to pack protein-filled meals for families in Mahaska County and beyond.

1-3 p.m. MLK Day of Service continues at Oskaloosa Middle School.

2:30-6:30 p.m. Mahaska County Community Blood Drive at Penn Central Mall.
