Meredith Nunnikhoven of Barnswallow Flowers & Produce will host “Flower Farming With a Long-Term View: Diversifying Plantings & Revenue Streams” to explore aspects of her flower farm management near Oskaloosa (2560 Highway 23). The event is free to attend and will end with an ice cream social. RSVPs are appreciated for the snack by July 12. 10 a.m. Outdoor In-Person Story Time. Storytime with Miss Katie and Art in the Park with Miss Marie from the Pella Art Center program, held in West Market Park, South Shelter House on Liberty Street in Pella.

6:30 p.m. Culture Night: England. The Pella Public Library will continue its Culture Night Series with a presentation about England by Pamela Wood in Room 206 of the Pella Community Center. Wood grew up on the beautiful Isle of Wight and will share her own experiences as well as facts about England. Learn about the history, culture, geography, food and more of this island country across the Atlantic. This program is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome. 6:30 p.m. Oskaloosa Women’s Connection will present “Metal Works of Art” featuring Sergiy and Vera Nagorny at Central Church, located at the corner of South 7th St. and 2nd Ave. East. The Nagorny’s will show-and-tell about some of their extraordinarily beautiful art they design out of recycled tin and copper wire. They also have a store in Penn Central Mall. A meal will be provided, and a fee must be paid to attend the program. Make reservations for dinner and free childcare by contacting Twink at 641-673-7345 or Becke at 641-660-7640 by Friday, July 15.
