OSKALOOSA — These two were locked after four innings but a three-run fifth inning by Oskaloosa helped put them over the top for the win.
Noah Van Veldhuizen homered and had two RBIs while Tyler Miller drove home one run. Colton Bulter would finish 2-for-3.
Jarrett Czerwinski pitched 5 2/3 strong innings for Oskaloosa, giving up two runs on four hits with two walks and five strikeouts. Wyatt Krier pitched the final 1 1/3 innings, he wouldn’t allow a baserunner while also picking up a pair of strikeouts.
Oskaloosa (8-3, 7-3 LHC) celebrates senior night on Monday at 7:30 p.m. against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (8-3).
No. 2 (3A) Dallas Center-Grimes 5, Pella 0
PELLA — The Dutch ran into one of the top teams in the state and were no-hit on Monday night.
Pella was able to draw three walks but struck out 13 times as a team in their shutout loss. Drew Hillman was able to draw a pair of those walks.
Tanner Dunsbergen started on the mound for Pella and pitched 4 2/3 innings, giving up five runs, two earned, on five hits with one walk and four strikeouts. Mason Wittmer and Keegan Hansen would both pitch scoreless innings of relief for the Dutch.
Pella (5-7, 5-5 LHC) travels to Grinnell (3-8, 1-8 LHC) for a doubleheader on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
Knoxville 10, Clarke 2
OSCEOLA — After trailing 1-0 entering the fourth, the Panthers exploded for three runs in the fourth, five in the fifth and two in the sixth to run away from Clarke.
Bode Cox led Knoxville with a 2-for-4 effort with one home run and four RBIs while Drew Robinson collected two RBIs and Beau Leisure and Colton Jones both drove in one run apiece.
Leisure pitched a gem on the mound, going six innings giving up two runs, one earned, on two hits with one walk and seven strikeouts. Mike Hudson pitched one perfect inning of relief with three strikeouts.
Knoxville (3-4, 2-1 SCC) will host Grinnell (3-8, 1-8 LHC) on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
No. 3 (4A) Dallas Center-Grimes 15, Pella 5
PELLA — The Lady Dutch found themselves trailing 8-0 early but would score five unanswered to pull within three before a six-run sixth inning by DCG would put the game away.
Ava Curry went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI while Brynnlin Kroymann, Kylie Tauke and Courtney Thompson would all grab two hits for Pella.
Pella (1-10, 1-10 LHC) travels to North Mahaska (4-6) on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Pella Christian 11, Newton 5
PELLA — The bats were a consistent threat for the Eagles as they racked up 11 runs on 14 on their way to a win over Newton.
Pella Christian (4-6, 4-5 LHC) will host No. 8 (4A) Oskaloosa (8-3, 5-2 LHC) for a doubleheader on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

Clarke 4, Knoxville 1
OSCEOLA — These two were locked at one after one but a three-run third by Clarke was the difference as the Panthers were held off the scoreboard the rest of the way.
Knoxville (4-3, 2-2 SCC) host PCM (2-6) on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
