PELLA — The Pella School Board reviewed election petitions for the upcoming school election on November at their meeting Monday
Superintendent Greg Ebeling said the petition required more than 609 signatures, and the petition surpassed the number. The issues should officially be on the ballot, pending approval from the Marion County Auditor’s Office.
The projects involved in the bond issue would amount to $40 million, which was previously covered in the Oskaloosa Herald.
The new projects include building an Early Childhood Center, improving the Jefferson Intermediate and the Middle School buildings, replacing the HVAC system in the High School building, and improving the athletic stadium and baseball field.
The next Pella School Board meeting will be on Monday, Sept. 13, beginning at 4:30 p.m.
