KNOXVILLE — Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has a new outdoor art exhibit for 2021, A Walk in the Light. The exhibit will be open from July 22-25 from dusk to 10:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Walk down the illuminated path at the church and experience art installations that explore how the Light shines through the darkness. The church is located at 1506 S Attica Road in Knoxville.
“This past year has been full of uncertainty and darkness and we hope visitors that come to A Walk in the Light will feel and know there is hope and peace in the light. We want to provide an artful faith experience for our community to come together and for us to meet new people with this unique exhibit,” said Jill Edwards, Art Project Coordinator.
Visit the church in the evening to best experience this art installation. Lanterns will guild you along a footpath containing illuminated sculptures, music and messages of hope, faith and light.
All are welcome and are invited to experience the good news in a beautiful, illuminated outdoor setting.
