KNOXVILLE — The Knoxville Community School District and the Knoxville Wellness Coalition will host the annual Back to School Bash on Wednesday, July 28.

The event, back this year after a hiatus due to COVID-19, gives families the opportunity to conveniently register their children for school.

They can also turn in the required paperwork for sports physicals and immunizations and sign up for free and reduced lunch if they qualify.

A number of community organizations, including those focused on health and wellness, will be onsite to assist families and students.

“We are incredibly excited to hold our Back to School Bash again this year and help our students and families get prepared for the start of the 2021-22 school year,” said Cassi Pearson, KCSD Superintendent. “This has become a popular summer event and a terrific way for us to make the registration process easier for our families. We look forward to another great event this year and know that the first day of school will be here before we know it.”

The Back to School Bash will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Knoxville Performing Arts Center on July 28. Families can enter through the main office door or the circle drive doors at the school.
