OTTUMWA — Community 1st Credit Union announced that Rose Bean has taken over as branch manager for the bank's Oskaloosa branch located. She began her duties on July 5.

Bean takes over Oskaloosa after running the branch in Albia and one in Ottumwa. Starting at the credit union as a teller in 2003, then head teller, a member service representative, personal representative, a trainer, and becoming an assistant manager of the Member Relations Center before she was announced Branch Manager of the Pennsylvania location in Ottumwa.

She landed her first Branch Manager spot in 2014 and plans to continue running a successful team in Oskaloosa.

Bean is a Bloomfield native who graduated from Davis County High School and Indian Hills Community College. She resides in Ottumwa. Rose has three grown children and six grandchildren.

In her free time, she enjoys sitting outside with her coffee and a book and spending weekends with her grandchildren.
