On Saturday, buildings surrounding the Oskaloosa square were painted with light and illuminated for the entire holiday season.
According to the Mahaska Chamber, approximately 200,000 LED lights are switched on each year for Painting with Lights. The lights turn on at 6 p.m. and stay on until 10 p.m.Â
