Published August 13, 2008 01:55 pm - BRUXVOORT, VOS Nicole Dawn Bruxvoort and Randall John Vos were married on June 9, 2007, by the Rev. John Gorter at the Peoria Christian Reformed Church near Pella.
Parents of the couple are Robert and Debra Bruxvoort, of rural New Sharon, and Ronald and Nancy Vos, of rural Ireton. Grandparents are Henry J. and Gertrude Vande Voort, of Pella, Jerry and Shirley Bruxvoort, of Oskaloosa, Alvin and Freda Goemaat, of Pella, and the late Ben and Matilda Vos. Bridesmaids were Mary Mackey, Kara Wolthuizen, Nicole Kallemeyn and Leah Bruxvoort; Adrienne Vander Molen was the flower girl. Groomsmen were Ben Taylor, Matt Wolthuizen, Brad Vos and Rob Bruxvoort. Ushers were Marcus Duck, Scott Kallemeyn and Matt Vander Linden. A dinner reception followed the ceremony at Hoksey’s Native Seeds Barn near Lynnville, where Todd and Angie Vander Molen served as host and hostess. The bride is a graduate of Pella Christian High School and Creighton University. She works as a pharmacist for the Indian Health Service. The groom graduated from Unity Christian High School, Dordt College and Michigan State University. He teaches viticulture at Des Moines Area Community College. The couple resides in rural New Sharon.
