Marolf picks off three passes in Rockets win over Trojans

PLEASANTVILLE —

Blake Marolf intercepted three passes — returning one for an 65-yard touchdown — to lead Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont to a 27-21 win over Pleasantville Friday night.
The Rockets forced the Trojans into four turnovers as Dillon Pigsley recovered a fumble.
Cory Archer carried the ball 13 times for 123 yards as Ty Jager rushed for 40 yards. Pigsley had 29 yards rushing and two touchdowns as Treg Van Dorin had a rushing touchdowns. Pigsley was 4 for 8 passing for 44 yards with Chance Wursta catching one pass for 20 yards. Marolf, Archer and Cody Brown also caught passes.
The defense was led by the duo of Jager and Jeren Glosser, who both recorded 10 tackles. Archer and Dalton Brown each had seven tackles.
