New Oskaloosa coaches hired for bowling, swimming, baseball

OSKALOOSA —

Oskaloosa High School have hired new coaches for the baseball, bowling and swim teams, pending approval of the Oskaloosa Community School Board.
Clint Gingerich has been hired as the new head baseball coach for Oskaloosa High School. Gingerich graduated from Iowa Mennonite High School and Northwestern College in Orange City with a degree in Business Education. Gingerich has coached at Washington High School, Underwood High School and has been the freshman baseball coach in Oskaloosa the past two years. Coach Gingerich teaches Business Education Classes at Oskaloosa High School. Gingerich and his wife Hillary reside in Oskaloosa 
Brandi Crall has been hired as the boys and girls bowling coach for Oskaloosa High School. Crall graduated from Albia High School, Indian Hills Community College and William Penn University with a degree in Special Education. She taught Special Education in Texas and for the past three years been employed by Oskaloosa High School. This will be Crall’s first coaching position. Crall lives in Oskaloosa and has three children.
Laura Brummel has been hired as the boys (Coed) swimming coach at Oskaloosa High School. This is the first season Oskaloosa has had a swimming program of its own as is have had a shared program with Ottumwa the past several years. Brummel graduated from Colfax-Mingo High School, where she swam for Newton High School, and Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids with a secondary education and English-Language Arts Degree. Brummel is starting her second year as eighth-grade Language Arts teacher at the Oskaloosa Middle School. Brummel has coached youth swim teams but this will be her first coaching job as a varsity level coach. Brummel lives with her husband Brant in Monroe.
