Tucker, Brouwer earn all-LHC honors

The Oskaloosa duo of Clay Tucker and Andrew Brouwer recorded all-conference honors at the Little Hawkeye Conference Tournament Monday.
Tucker earned his third all-conference honor after shooting a 78 at Willow Creek Golf Course while Brouwer had a 79 for his first all-LHC honor.
The Indians were fifth after shooting a season-low 325. Grinnell won the team title with a 308 score.
"We had great weather and we played our best golf of the year," Oskaloosa coach Bret Foster said. "We bettered our previous low score by 16 strokes."
Besides the play of Tucker and Brouwer, Andrew Shaffer and Ethan Farner had their lowest scores ever and Tanner Lanphier equaled his low round of his career.
Next the Indians will be a home meet on Thursday.
