Madison, Walker lead Statesmen to wild win in 2OT thriller

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. — In a game that seemingly would never end, William Penn outlasted No. 6 Dordt in a double overtime thriller 118-116 Thursday night in the first orund of the NAIA National Tournament.

The win pits the 23-9 Statewsmen into Friday night's matchup against No. 11 St. Thomas at 9:15 p.m.

Kelly Madison poured in a game-high 38 points, including a fadeaway 3-pointer with 36 seconds remaining in the second overtime. Blake Walker collecterd a trriple-double with 10 points, 10 assists and 11 rebounds while Alec Schwab tallied 27 points and Tyler Sthale scored 17 points.
