EBF's shuttle hurdle team runs to state title

DES MOINES —

Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont's shuttle hurdle relay team of Sadie Baugher, Tasha Alexander, Bailey Baker and Karlie Taylor captured the Class 2A state titlemat the state track meet Saturday.
The team ran 1:06.04 to win the title — the second for the Herald area.

Boys
Class 3A
Oskaloosa
1,600m, Skylar DeJong finished ninth in the time of 4:34.54
 
Class 1A
North Mahaska
Trent Wanders finished 17th in the time of 4:50.48
 
Girls
Class 3A
Oskaloosa
Sprint medley, Emily Allee, Leah VanMaanen, Asia Laudermilch, Brey Hill finished 11th in the time of 1:52.20
 
Class 2A
Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont
Shuttle hurdle, Sadie Baugher, Tasha Alexander, Bailey Baker, Karlie Taylor won state title in the time of 1:06.04
 
Class 1A
North Mahaska
1,500, Megan Goemaat finished 10th in the time of 5:15.33

Oskaloosa Girls tied for 17th with 11 points
