Osky's Richardson wins state 400 hurdle title

DES MOINES — Oskaloosa junior Taylor Richardson captured the state title in the Class 3A 400-meter hurdles at the state track meet Friday.

She ran 1:04.79 to take first place in the event as teammate Alexis Westercamp ran to an 18th-place time of 1:11.10

Distance medley, Emily Allee, Leah VanMaanen, Brey Hill, Tori Palmer finished ninth in the time of 4:19.50
400 hurdles, Taylor Richardson wins state title in the time of 1:04.79; Alexis Westercamp finished 18th in the time of 1:11.10
