One of the plays Ehret was upset with came on the second play of the second half when Dylan Lauer hit Sheehey on a 79-yard score to give the Trojans a 20-0 lead.
North Mahaska then manufactured an 8-minute, 8-second, 76-yard drive that culminated in a Richards to Bortel to Trent Wanders touchdown. The Warhawks would add another score early in the fourth quarter. Richards plowed in from the one for the score.
Pleasantville’s Brock Busick, who rushed 15 times for 121 yards, scored with less than a minute to play from 41 yards out.
North Mahaska actually outgained Pleansatville (3-5, 2-4). North Mahaska accumulated 248 yards on the ground. Stodghill led the way with 140 yards on 30 carries. Trey Rutledge had 35 yards on eight carries. Half of the yards came on a run in the third quarter when he carried half of the Pleasantville defense for 17 yards. Richards had 11 carries for 46 yards.
North Mahaska (2-7, 1-5) will have one more chance for a win when it travel to Liberty Center to take on Southeast Warren Friday.
