The Oskaloosa Herald
Oskaloosa’s boys tennis team got off to a very successful start as the Indians crushed South Tama 9-0 Tuesday night.
The Indians recorded three victories without giving up a game as Brandon DenHartog, Zach Milonas and Nate Caves shut out their opponents.
“This was a good opening meet win,” Oskaloosa coach Tony Witt said. “The guys will get a lot of confidence with this win. It’s always great to start the season with a win.”
Jimmy Brown and Levi Hunt notched their first varsity win, pulling out the closest match of the night, a 10-6 victory over Brittor Waldo and Wes Rebrusen.
